I chose to pay for my sons vaccinations privatly and decided against using the national health services free MMR jab, Reason behind this were my cousin was autistic after having the MMR jab ( he was fine beforehand) The last time my son recieved a needle from health choice uk was september 2008, He was due his mumps soon after, It is not over a year since he had his last needle and we are still waiting for the mumps needle??? I have been ringing health choice uk now for 4 days and there is no answer at their end, i have also emailed them. I have heard rumors that they are not doing the mumps needle anymore??!! I have paid out over £700 ($1290) And do not want my son left without the full vaccinations! What would you do? do you have any advice as to what to do or where to go??? thanks

Healthchoice Uk have apparently stopped trading - I suggest you contact the Care Commission to make a complaint if you have outstanding money due to be returned.

For all the people that are having the same problem as myself with Healthchoice uk Ltd I have one son coming up to 5 that hasnt had his last Mumps jab and my other son that was booked in at the clinic on the 9th of january in Slough for his first jab of the MMR. On not being able to contact anyone for a couple of months and phoning the clinic in Slough with them telling me that Health choice had not booked the clinic for the said date, I decided there was no point in driving all the way to slough on Saturday for the appointment. I contacted care commission and they told me that there is a criminal investigation going on for fraud so you need to contact Kent Police on 01622690690. I am fuming as I dont know now where my 5 year old stands as he is affectivly not covered for Mumps, so ive spent a lot of money for???? I hope this helps and that whoever is responsible for this gets caught.

This is unreal, I cannot believe so many of us are left in this position. My 5 year old is awaiting his booster and my now 2 year old has waited nearly a whole year for his Mumps vacination. We have spent about £1500 on both our boys and now they are still not fully vacinated!!
