Resume writing tips?

YOu may use the scholastic format, you can have a template for that, it is in ENCARTA, under resume templates, instead of white paper i used a yellow bond paper to print out my resume. it was good, it got attention.

I actually use color paper or more specifically granite looking paper. I had some that looked like a sky will a little bit of clouds. I heard that is good to make your resume stand out from others. I know they say you should only have one page. If you look in Microsoft word they have some templates and you can download others as well. If you ever took a technical writing course like I just got done with they say it should be clear and concise. Of course proper grammar and spelling is a must. Another thing to keep in mid is make sure you put all relevant experience you have for the job you are applying for. When I was looking for a job I had to make about 3 different types of resumes for myself. Your headers should be in bold and 1 or 2 font sizes bigger than the main text. In my last class they also said you should use font will appeal like courier new. I guess the important thing is readability and like I said before relevant experience.
