Hello dear myLotters. Do you enjoy learning foreign languages?

Learning something new is always interesting for me. After all getting some additional knowledge will always help. Even tough I'm not fluent, I do know french, German & Spanish.

How I wish to visit to other countries around the world and learn the different languages spoke or used of the different people. I can speak english, Filipino, subanons, Ilonggo and a little bit chavacano. It's nice to know the different languages. You can easily communicate people.

Yes, I enjoy learning foreign languages. The only problem is, I'm involved in so many other things until I wouldn't have time to learn one these days. I also have to think about how much it costs to take a course in a foreign language and I have to think about my budget. I took French when I was in the third grade and I really enjoyed that. I've forgotten just about everything I learned, though, lol. I ordered some records from Sears one time to learn the French language but like I said, it does take a lot of time. If I had a chance, I would like to get back with it. Kathy.

I do speak a foreign language. I speak Spanish. I love learning it and it is really neverending. There is always a new word or phrase to learn. I would love to learn more because quite frankly, I love to communicate with everyone. I don't want there to be any language barriers. That's why I began to learn Spanish, I worked on and off with people that couldn't speak English.

Yeah, I love learning new things, foreign languages included. I had my first contact with French before I went to school, age 5, thanks to my mom, who at the time considered French to be the most beautiful language on Earth. The next one was English, which I learned in school, and this is my favorite of all. And recently (a few years ago) I started learning Spanish, which was a huge surprise for me, since I learned it quite fast. The only language that I had problems with was German, I took some courses while in high school, but it was impossible for me to actually understand anything:))

I think it is only enjoyable when you do it in leisure, or if you learn it without being compelled to do so. I would love learning other languages too, but learning languages is still considered art, you can do it when you feel like it and not because you need it to survive.

Why I say, because I hate that foreign languages are pushed on us when we don't even understand ourselves and each other. I hate English being in the Phils. eversince and other languages of the hateful people.

I like to learn foreign languages very much even if it is a little harder for me. I think if I learn one more foreign language, I would know one more culture. I could also talk with more and more people in their language if I could speak many foreign language. Learn foreign language is a really interesting thing.

I enjoy foreign languages. In high school i took three years of French. It was the highlight of my school day. My best friend preferred to take Spanish. She was an honor student in Spanish in fact. We would try to teach each other French and Spanish. I would love the chance to travel to Paris one day to see how much of my high school French I can still master.

i do like languess. i find them interesting. my first language is english but i know a smattering of french and german (but would like to learn more french) and also would like to learn spanish. i tried to learn mandarin but alas, had no one to practice on and i also think yiddish is fascinating!

I can speak a little japanese but i'm not very fluent, i am a fluent english speaker but i guess english is not very hard to learn. I really want to learn other languages and be fluent like japanese, french, spanish and mandarin.
