my other department co - worker won't open the door for me

Yesterday, I forgot to bring my badge to work. At the place where I work, a badge ID just like a key to open the electronic door, just scan it to the sensor. It was early in the morning, I stand outside the side door where it facing the parking lot; I saw a co - worker from other department was pouring the coffee, and I pound on the door. He saw me, but he won't open the door for me. I pointed to the front door and tell me go through the reception area.
It was frustrated, and I have to go to the front door. Where the receptionist had to ask my name, and my supervisor. She has to call my supervisor whether I work for him or not. Luckily, the Human Resource manager know me and she let me in without further more question to be asked. Wow, what a long procedure to be followed. Next time, I have to bring my badge with me definitely.
