cheapest ice cream which you ever bought

The cost of icecreams in India is going up very fast and in last one year they have increased by over fourty percent. The icecream which i used to buy for rs 15 ( about 30 cents) is now over 25 ( about 50 cents) but last year i was pleasently surprised to see they selling bars for rs 2 ( 4 cents) and i did buy that..it is different that they didnt taste good and not even worth rs 2.

The cheapest I've had are the kind we affectionately call "dirty ice cream", and Panda ice cream, which is like dirty ice cream on a stick. I think it's formally called sorbetes here in the Philippines though. We get it from people who go around selling them. Those who sell "dirty ice cream" go around pushing a home-made cart, and the ice cream is kept frozen with ice. I had one for Php5.00 which is less than $0.10, but I usually get the P10.00 one. It's funny though because the name dirty ice cream came from what parents usually tell their kids when they want that kind of ice cream, that it's dirty and from the streets LOL!

Wow, wher do you live? I'm in America and if you want a quart of good ice cream it'll cost you around $5. India? What exactly is dung-dung ice cream? Sounds like it'd be sort if like the American Rocky Road. Yum. Is there any other weird names for ice cream flavors in the place you live?

The cheapest ice cream I have ever had was 10 cents, it's just a scoop of ice cream on the ice cream cone. I had it when I was young, there were ice cream men selling ice cream with bicycle, there was a container with several flavors of ice cream. I still remember 10 cents for one scoop of ice cream, and 20 cents for two scoops. For ice cream in a bun, it cost 20 cents. But when we grow up, the price is rising too. I think the cheapest ice cream I can get now is $1 dollar.
