is it good to fall in love with someone you meet on the internet?

I just want to say no. I think in net relationship there are some limitation to understand each other well. So to fall in love just in the meeting in internet may be not successful. It can be considered as a platonic love. So we know well before married. What more to say....

Since the advent of internet and the messengers like yahoo, aol and msn and since the advent of social networking sites like myspace, facebook, hi5, tagged to name a few, people have started to come close and have started to fall in love from distant places but i donot think it is right to be falling in love as i have seen my very close friend ( who is very nice, caring and sensitive guy) fell in love with a girl from mississippi USA who played behind his back and stayed with him till he kept sending money.. once she thought she cant get more, she just cut him off not even bye or anything.. for every one sucessful net relationship there are over 100 cheaters out there.

I met my husband over the internet and we decided to get married before we fell in love, like an arranged marriage but something we arranged. We had a lot of problems in the beginning getting to know each other but now it has been 4 years going on 5 and we love each other more and more. Our relationship is more stable and we feel comfortable and have a lot of compatibility.

I see more people that get married young divorce after 10 years, but I am the only person I know that got married after meeting on the internet. I think because we didn't date, we just got married, we were determined to make it work. Plus we were both in our 30's and felt like we experienced the single life enough already. We were more mature in the relationship. And I have heard that arranged marriages are most successful because there is no feeling that will make you loose site of character defects that you may not like. We were both in a good state of mind when we decided this, there was no longing for each other or lovey feeling. It was more serious and logical.

Internet is a place where you can represent yourself as whatever you like. And in all those places people tend to promote only their plus points. (those points or the whole image itself may be made up!) So, I don't think it's good to fall in love with someone whom you know only through net.

On the other hand, there's no harm in it if you know the person well and now you meet only on net:P

It does not matter from where you meet your lover.On line or off line.The key points are honestly,sincerity and trust.If you found the lover that match with your taste from internet why not you enhance the realtionship.have a nice day victory
