Passion Fruit

Have you ever eaten passion fruit?
I was at a breakfast buffet last weekend and the fruit was phenomenal!! I asked the lady what was in the mix and the one thing she mentioned was passion fruit. And she actually told me their mix came out of a can! So what I'm wondering is is there such thing as a passion fruit that you can just go out and buy in your produce section of your grocery store? I've never noticed them if there is.
What do you know about passion fruit?

Passion fruit is a yellow fruit witch grows on high trees. They are not hard, the middle of the fruit isn't edible (like an apple for instance) but you can take the inside pulp, blend with water and ice and sugar on a mixer, sieve the seeds out and drink a wonderful juice, very good on the summer season!

the first time I ate passion fruit was in the house of a friend of mine, they have a plant in their house,,it is so good getting the fruits from its vine but what i hate was the worms crawling in the vine like guarding the fruit hehehe. I never saw passion fruit in the grocery store or supermarket.
