i have a chat mate and he asked me to be his tour guide in my place and he would pay me for that but he wanted to see in the cam first. i told him why you need to see me when in fact i am only his tour guide. he then said goodbye. so weird.

I believe that most people who are in the chat room are pretentious and sometimes would want to take advantage of other people especially men who are on the lookout for girls who they want to be their object of desire. This is the reason why I do not recommend to my friends and relatives to spend long hours in the chat room since it will invite those kind of people.

Not all people in the chat world are true. Most of them just chat for fun. They ain't really serious. Some would even lie just to make an impression. So don't believe everything they say. Rely on your "real live" friends instead...

Chat room cannot be trusted. Why would you trust a stranger that you never know anyway. It's weird why look for tour guide on the net? I personally would find a professional guide from a trusted travel agency. This dude was lying for sure. I had the same experience in the past, a guy told me he was single where in fact he was married and had a kid. I do not understand why people lie on the internet. I mean, what's wrong with being married and have kids?

Your friend was fishing on you, he wanted to get you on cam, and talk you into removing clothes or something that is very obvious, or he wouldn't say bye.
Thats how most women and men are tricked they get you onto cam then they flatter you until you do what they want, he may have even had the intention of recording you and putting you on some site.
That guy is not your friend you should avoid him, he is a internet predator a pervert, if you get on cam and do things on your own then fine, but never let someone talk you into anything.

Some people in chats are scammers and they trick people for a living. My friend's account has once been hacked and I thought all along I was chatting to him. Suddenly he was asking me to buy hundreds of call cards, text him the pin numbers and he'd pay me double by bank transfer. I got a little doubtful, asked him about his brother (my friend doesn't really have one) and the chatter said his brother's fine. I immediately signe out and called my friend to check on his account. So don't believe everything in chat

That there are true and honest people in the chat world can hardly be denied. Some of my friends found their spouses in the net after a period of chatting. I think they are just fortunate enough to have met sincere people, but the general principle is "on the net, nothing is what is seems." And most of the people who are in the chat rooms are just there for fun. It pays to be extra careful and sincere people will surely stand the test of time.

actually alot of them are not. i cant really trust someone in the chat world unless i know them. sometimes though even my friends puts on facade when they do chat with me so i dont know which is true or not anymore.

Maybe he just wants to make sure you look good or not before moving on to your place.
you know, everybody hope to get a good-looking guy to tour with.

Chat mates are just chat mates and you should never believe in their words.
Compared with friends in our real life, the relationship with chat mates is full of unknown and falsity. If you lay too much emphasis on this kind of friend, you may get hurt at last because there are full of scams and unlikelihood. Chat mates are only people who we can chat with and it is obviously that they can't replace our friends in real life.
It is very common that some people have been cheated by their chat mates for they are quick to trust others.

Well, in my opinion in the chat world 10% is true and the rest is not. Look at this, in the chat world, you can tell the person you're chatting with anything and well he or she doesn't know you so he or she can't to anything but believe you or ride along with the conversation. Be careful, that's all i'm saying.
