Do you turn on your cell phone 24/7? |
|
I read an article about how to maintain your cell phone. it said that it would be better if you turn off your cell phone once in a while becuase machine just like human beings, they need some rest from time to time. It will last longer in time.I think i never turned it off since i bought my cell phone. I just keep it on charge if the battery is low. And one more thing it will be better if you turn off your cell phone while charging. Do you turn on your cell phone every day?

1. sunny68 (734) | 3 months ago | no i have never switched off my cellphone. and i don't have any problem with that. i am using my current phone for the last four years and it has given me no problem. also i have heard that the expected life of a phone is only 2 years (that is your phone is obsolete in two years) so i think that my phone that has worked for four years is quite good and in its present condition it might as well work for a few more years.

4. abhikmjmdr (638) | 3 months ago | Unfortunately, mu work does not allow me to switch off my cell phone. I am on duty at all hours and even my friends take it for granted that I need no rest and ring up at all odd hours.I know it is better to switch of the phone while charging but I just cannot do it for the fear of missing some important call which might require instant decision making.

6. Binthu (3440) | 3 months ago | Hi Andy,
It was the wrong information that we need to switched off some times in order to increase the life of the cellphones, most of the peoples would never switched off because of the necessity and urgent duty, so we have to open all the times in order to have the routine work in the smooth ways. I have been using my cellphone since for long time and never been switched off and have not been received any compliant, and doing the work is fine. So may be you can do the switch off when recharging otherwise not necessary to switched off in the normal day.
Have a nice day.

7. maximax8 (10835) | 3 months ago | I turn off my cell phone whilst I recharge it. I like to have my cell phone on if I am expecting a phone call from someone or I want to phone somebody. I have my cell phone switched off unless I plan to send a text message. I wouldn't want to have my cell phone on 24 hours 7 days a week. Some days I keep it switched off.

8. rosekiss (4484) | 3 months ago | I turn my cell phone off before I go to bed, and I do leave it on while charging, as it always seens to need charging when I need to have it on. I have howerver, turned it off to charge it, if it needed it when I went to bed, but then it is on the charger all night, and that isn't good either. I also wait until I get the warning that my battery is low, before I charge it, as it will help it to last much longer. It is a long life battery as it is, as I only have to charge it up every 4-5 days, and I think that is phenomenal. The cell phone I have now is the best one I have ever had, as none of my other cell phone batteries have lasted as long as this one does. I am really glad I boght it, as I did buy it for all the features, but having a long life battery is a plus, that is for sure. Take care, and happy mylotting.
