About my absence

I was shocked last night only about 1/2 of the house's that we normally go to were giving out candy. But it is a good thing in a way figuring we came home with about 20 pounds of candy, had the other houses been giving we would have had about 40 pounds. I hope to rest my feet, but I still have to rearrange the bedroom, I am replacing the old entertainment center with a new one. We spent around 2 hour's yesterday evening getting that in the house. It was to big for the door and the hallway. Something that solid doesn't turn.

As for Christmas I have about 1/2 of my shopping done so far. I cant wait to get the rest done, just so I know I wont have to do any last minute shopping. I plan on having loads of fun in here today.

I got a good deal at a thrift store for a designer Teddy bear. It was $10 instead of $140 which is what it originally sold for. It was still in the original box and everything so I got that for my youngest daughter. I also gave her an early Christmas present that I bought for her. It was the cutest little bunny rabbit. And it sing's "I want candy". It's ear's go up and down to the music, and its cheek's light up. It originally sold for $40 but I bought it for $5. I haven't bought anything yet for R.D. I cant wait to get him something. I plan on adding to his CD collection this year since he loves his music.

Sometimes we can't wait to see the expression on their faces and give it to them early lol, but I can't afford to be doing that any more.
Anyway... it's nice to see you back and I hope your mom gets better soon.
