Do you rush to the phone when it rings?Do you run to answer very fast?

Hi Icesmile,

I used to attend the calls as early as possible because
most of the calls from the foreign countries and related
to the business, so I have to answer to all the callers in order
to make the business in the right path. Many of the times I never
know that who is calling me and also most of the calls from the
business, so I need to attend the calls to make the deal and to
have the success in the business. So that is reasons all the times
I have to rush the calls to answer and want to know who is calling me.

It's the opposite, actually. I dont rush to answer my phone. Instead, ill wait for a few seconds fot it to stop. I just dont like answering calls. But if it is from my parents then i immediately answer it.

I read it somewhere that when you answer the call in a while when it rings people start thinking that this guy doesnt has anything to do and just springs up when his phone rings .
And if you pick it a bit late or on the second or third phone call they tend to think that the guy is pretty busy always and is always involved in some task the whole day and is not a timepasser whos got nothing to do and they have a nice image of yours in mind respectively .

I dont rush at all, i let it ring, then check out who's calling then let it ring more and then pick up .

Actually it depends on situations. If I'm not busy then I usually pick up the phone early. But if I'm busy or taking rest then I tend to be very lazy to pick up the phone unless my loved ones call.

Usually when the phone rings we will wait until the talking Caller Id says who is calling and then if it is important like someone we are waiting to call,or someone we want to talk to we will run to answer the phone,but if is a telemarketer or a bill collector we will just let it ring,and let it go to the answering machine,and if we do not recognize the number we will let it go to the answering machine,and then if it is someone we want to talk to we will answer it.

I do run to answer if I'm not too busy, or if I'm expecting a call. Otherwise, it can ring until the answering service picks up...

When my phone starts ringing it's almost as though there are alarm bells going off in my mind! I allow the phone to ring at least three times before picking up the handset. I don't like to miss a call generally so my pace will quicken when I am making my way towards the phone. Anyway, it's very convenient if you have an answer phone or voice mail, this makes the job a whole lot easier as you can return the call whenever you wish provided a message has been left. Andrew

No because I keep my cell phone always near me so I never rush, and even then if I don't make the call and they don't leave a message then it's not worth my time.

I don't rush to answer calls. Most of my calls would be from my friends and most of the time they would be just playing with missed calls. I used to rush and attend calls before but later I came to know that they are giving me miss calls, just to keep in touch in the cheap way. But we do a lot of SMSing to each other than calls.
