Shaq is slowly ruining the CAVALIERS..  | |  2009 season has started and come to think of it, 0-2 start for CAVS with new addition 37 yr old SHAQ is not going any good. Lets face it, the SHAQ the nimble SHAQ the quick that we've known is gone. He is just an old 7-foot guy who doesn't demand double team and can not shoot an outside shot. Which means he clogs the inside lane in which Lebron usually operate. I hate to point this out because i have been Shaq's fan ever since the LA era. But Shaq is over. Big mistake for CAVS.

I've seen that before in Phoenix suns, and fans waited as i said im a big fan of shaq but im tired of waiting to see how he gels to a team. I think the chemistry shouldn't be "waited". The gel comes right off the bat like Gasol did in LA lakers and KG, ALLen, Pierce in Boston, you knew they're gonna be a good team right away. Thats what i like to see with shaq to cavs but it isn't happening not even close. It seems over this season for CAVS. | |

I think they should bring him off the bench, for one; Cleveland needs to attack early in games and then when the second units come in there's big ol Shaq to keep things centered. I think the problems for the Cavs in the first to games wasn't all because of Shaq, though. Terrible ball movement and weak defense had a big part in the loses. Then there's the twin-tower approach, with Shaq and Big-Z in the game together, this will be a killer come playoff time. I don't think it was a mistake for the Cavs to bring in Shaq, but it will take more adjusting than the additions of Wallace to Boston or Jefferson to the Spurs, etc. | |

I think Cavs need to learn how to use him. In fact, Cavs is depends too much on LBJ himself. But one person can't win NBA as Basketball is played by a team. As we can see from last year's playoff. LBJ was running from outside to inside but every team understood this. So if there is a good center or inside player to let the defunce of inside paid more attention on others rather than waiting for LBJ, it will be much easier for LBJ. And the attack way is more than before.
So to me, the more importent thing is to learn how to use Shaq. | |
