use X instead of the whole word  | |  what is the explanation why we use "X" to abbreviate the word of christmas?..i get use to use "X" when i'm writing the whole word and my friend ask me, "are you in a hurry?"..i guess so..

What i remember from what he said is that unbelievers chose to use X instead of Christ because they deny His existence or something like that. I used to believe that, but once i grew older and understood more things, i just think what he said was crap. Well, most of the stuff he used to teach us was crap. A lot of the church members left that church because of him. lol. Anyway, there's too many possibilities as to why people use X instead of Christ | |

| | 4.  se7enthbird (2669) | 1 month ago |  its okay to abbreviate words specially on text message, specially when we need to put a lot of word in a single send. but here at mylot abbreviation is not cool. they want us to type all the words we want to say complete. the only abbreviation i can see here are expresions like LOL and some things like that. but in text i docu words as long as the one i am texting understands. when itcomes to writting it down for example greeting cards, i put the whole word... Christmas,birthday. i dont cut the words.
