Swine Flu Precautions

With the swine flu/ H1N1 going around I know everyone is taking their precautions to be safe against getting it. I have been doing the same in hopes that no one in my family gets it..we are doing things like making sure to wash our hands often, using hand sanitizer, cover coughs and sneezes and trying not to stay away from big crowds of people.
So I was just wondering what type precautions are you taking to protect yourself against the H1N1 swine flu?

The rate of people getting swine flu here in Western Australia has dwindled a bit so I’m hoping that we are relatively safe. We have been issued free vaccines but I am reluctant to have one. I’ve told my eight year old to wash her hands often and to cover her mouth when she coughs. There is not much else you can do really...

Hello paula. I have been told that it has dwindles down here as well but I am still hearing stories so I didn't take my chances. My kids and I both got ours a few weeks back and my husband just got his today because there was no place to get it until today there was a free clinic for it. I still make sure that I try and disinfect and wash and sanitize as much as we can and not take any chances. Thanks for your response.

My daughter had a nasty reaction to a flu shot she had when she was little and I am not keen on her having another one...

I have been trying to stay away from crowds as well, I am going to refuse the vaccine as I can't habdle injections, so i am trying to stay safe as well...

They now have out nasal injections for people that can't get shots or are scared to. If you are really wanting to still get the H1N1 vaccine I would look into maybe getting the nasal injection, my husband just got his today after trying and trying to find a place that would give it to him and he got the nasal and said it wasn't that bad. Thanks for your response.
