Do you feel today's youngsters have a wrong idea of enjoyment?

Here in Australia, and no doubt in many other parts of the world, graffiti is a growing problem and costs enormous sums of money. Evidently the culprits consider this enjoyment, but to not consider the owners of the structures they vandalise. I am one of the first to admit that SOME graffiti is attractive and that SOME of the vandals have talent - but that doesn't make their action right.

The world would know of our bushfires in Victoria last year that cost many lives, much property damage with whole towns wiped out, loss of animal life and more. I recently travelled past many burned out areas in Queensland. Some of these bushfires were started by arsonists and some are suspected to be juvenile arsonists.

Cars in local caryards are being damaged. Letter boxes in private homes are being destroyed. Parties are being crashed and people being injured. And the list could go on . . . . .

Who is to blame? Well, evidently the young people are to blame - but what made them what they are? Where were the loving families to give them the care they should have received? to teach them correct behaviour? to give them opportunity to develop their talents in an acceptable way? What were our governments doing to ensure their schooling years were disciplined and profitable? Once again the list could go on . . .
