Can i start a website free?

there are a lot of free websites out there. you can try blogger (for blogs), wordpress, multiply, and webs.com to name a few. this sites are free. you don't need an investment but if you really like to have big bandwidth and with a lot of traffice, you should advertise your site and purchase a domain name. but as far as sites go, you can still use all these sites as long as you want.:)

There are a lot free websites to start a blog. I think the most famous is blogger. Also wordpress is very good. The advantaje of blogger is that allow you to monetize your blog using almost any way that you want. The most famous is google adsense. With respect to the free hosting sites there are a lot, but it depends on what you want. Generally the paid hosting sites are better.

that all depends on what kind of website you want to start. most websites you start will be some cost to you. however i would assume you can start cetain sites with no out of pocket cost. good luck

You should start by going to your favorite search engine and type in " Free Webdesign application " most of the sites that host these applications will also give you links to were you can host the websites for free.

Wordpress...hands down. It not only functions as a blog, but also as a successful CMS...meaning you can create a webpage how you want it, but through the ease of Wordpress. I use Wordpress for my blog chickenteeth.org, and it was as simple as a click to set up. And wordpress is free to use, you dont even have to have a domain name you can just make it with them. Also, the old freewebs.com is good. But I suggest Wordpress!!!

try weebly.com it is so easy to manage your pages. actually everything is already there you just drag and drop..no need to program or to be an expert in html. it looks like a professional website. this is what I am using and i can tell you it is a great one.
