Do you think gtalk beat yahoo messenger?

gtalk has already beat the yahoo messenger..!!!
with yahoo messenger there is always the connectivity problems and the messages are not sent properly...
me and many of my friends have faced the same problems with yahoo....
so shifted to gtalk a long back.

Yes Google is beating yahoo in every aspect of internet. Gmail better than yahoomail, Google talk better than Yahoo messenger, google search engine better than Yahoo search, google adsense is better than yahoo publisher program.

i think gtalk is not that bad and stands a good chance to beat yahoo messenger. thou yahoo messenger has upgraded i think gtalk can offer a good run and its only a matter of time and they will get there.

I completely agree with you that yahoo messenger is the best instant messaging application available.The wide variety of emoticons,audibles and the various themes make the conversation more interesting and lively which is not the case with Google Talk which is very simple but is quite boring for chatting purposes.I mostly prefer yahoo messenger over Google talk while chatting and most of my other friends too mostly use it.We can also perform a conference with our friends using yahoo messenger's conferencing which is not possible using Google Talk.I've also heard that G talk lets in spam and virus into your computer at times so I mostly avoid using it.
