How do you set your mind on a decision and keep doing it?

i've always had problems with quitting so much things that i REALLY DO LOVE!! but only in my brain.. i'd think of how i should do it hw, studying, reading, music, singing, cooking....everything!! but then... it only goes in my brain.. my body won't move... and i get lazy...
what do i need to do to make my body move and...like JUST DO IT
:l ... people tell me that i already know..
some people even win cancer with their brain power!! XD !!!
what do i do..im sitting on the comp talking about this :/ and .. i think all i need to do is just do it get off the comp and juz do it but..how do i.. KEEP doing it.. i quit so easily bcuz i get lazy... sigh....

To me, if you quit, you aren't loving that thing enough. Maybe you like it, but you don't love it. See the difference between like and love.
What I learnt in the years was about weight loss, people get bored or lazy, call that 'committment issues', but they really aren't, if you don't have committment it's because you have doubts and don't believe in what you are doing, there committment issues sneak in. So, find yourself something you not only want to do, or like to do, but also you believe into.

I think you really need to push yourself, of what do you think is good for you. If you set your mind, that you need to do something for your own good then make it possible by putting things into action. There is a thing called the "Law of Attraction". It's just as simple as, positive thoughts attract positive things. But it does not merely depends on thinking, instead it also need an action. For you to achieve your goals in life, you need to take things in life seriously. And most of all believe in yourself. I can guarantee you based on experience that a hundred percent self confidence can be a great edge to achive what have you dreamed of.

I not sure, but you make a list of what you really want, priorite that list,and...Start off with one thing and just set your mind on that one thing. Start off with baby steps.....You can do it! Congrats in advance for making it!

choose a topic that you really enjoy before you pursue anything. for me, if something is really boring, i quickly lose interest and i cant handle it. and it also depends on how badly you want to do something. if they is a will, there will always be a way. pick something that you have strong feelings for that will make you really want to do it until you accomplish whatever you are trying to do.
i wrote, edited, designed and self published my novel, and did everything on my own. it was a long and stressful process with a lot of headache, but i finally did it because i wanted to do it.

well that right. of course to do all the things and face all the problems everyday we need somethings to make us keep going. what makes you keep going is passion and of course things that you love the most in this world your family. my family and passion are what makes me keep going and face all the problems and done all the jobs that i require to finish it.

I let my mind and my heart decide on what I really want.when they agree on something,it means I love it.when I love something,I'll stick to it.the things I love doesn't mean "work" for me.I love cooking,and though I'm still learning,both my mind and my heart feel happy while doing it.it is both my mind and my heart that urges me to learn something.

You know, if we understood the power of our thoughts, we would guard them more closely.... If we understood the awesome power of our words, we would prefer silence to almost anything negative.
In our thoughts and words we create our own weaknessess and our own strenghts. Our limitations and joys begin in our hearts. We can always replace negative with positive, if we really want too.....

Well the way I do it works out pretty good when I want to so something I plan it and then do it in other words I don't just do it that instant, I plan it, like next Friday I'm going to do this and thinking about it for a few days helps or I say tomorrow I'm doing this and so after awhile it becomes a habit and I surprise myself
at how many things I get done, you cannot become lazy don't forget Your mother did not raise any lazy people!!
