Ozzie's 50th shutout!

Last night was Osgood's 50th shutout.He shut out The Bruins.Wow 50! It seems that he gets lost in all the other great stars on The wings roster. But last night he was a steel curtain.If it weren't for him stopping Everything,the wings would have lost by 3! So Congrads Ozzie!

And then he promptly turn around and let the Maple Leaf score 5 goals on him.

Yes. I could not believe that the Leafs beat Detroit! I guess the Canes gave them the energy they needed to win! At least Detroit has their goalie. Cam Ward got a nasty cut above the knee last night from Rick Nash's skate. He comes home from the hospital in Columbus tomorrow. He will be out for 3-4 weeks. Our backup goalie has been sitting for a while. Just added more to the Carolina Hurricanes grief!!
So hard to watch your team struggle so. I hate it. Going to watch them play the Kings on Wednesday. My favorite player Justin Williams plays for the Kings. Use to play for the Canes! Hope we win one!!

A goalie is such a critical position, just like a QB in football. After Roy retired, the Av's hasn't been the same, they did ok some year and they just flop another. They got Theodore hoping that would be it, but he never did any good. Now, they found a gem in Anderson, it's funny how they never get to shine somewhere as a back up somewhere else, without him, the Av's probably would just be in the middle of the pack. Now just hope it lasts.

Was that not cool. That's why they call him the Wizard of OZ. The Wings are my team, and I am a major Osgood fan. I even named my Saint Bernard after him. When he is good he is so much fun to watch. When he is bad is when everyone notices him. It seems you either love him or hate him. Then there are the ones that love to hate on him. I run into at least one of them everytime I have a wings shirt on. Ozzies the real deal, but you have to look at his overall numbers to appreciate him.
I was watching the wings lose the afore-mentioned game when they made the announcement abot Ward. I hope it's a quick heal for him. I was glad to see Legace found a home, if even for awhile, he's always been kind of standing on the edge of being great, (in my opinion) I hope he takes advantage and really shows his stuff.
Jimmy Howard did alright for us last night but 9 goals could have had something to do with that. I really like Howard but I wish we had kept Conklin instead.
