She is Pregnant, Why is she doing that?

I am not trying to say whether it is right or wrong to smoke while you are pregnant . But I will tell you I am a smoker, I also have 5 kids. I smoked while I was pregnant . I cut down the amount I smoked while pregnant. But I also had a doctor who told me that If i could cut down it would be alright. I lost a baby due to stress in between my first 2 kids..Stress that comes with stopping cigarettes cold turkey . So the next time I became pregnant the dr said cut down.

I would just leave it alone, because it is really nobody else's businesses. If she harms her child she has nobody to blame but herself

I completely agree with you, how can someone do something that would harm their baby?? I just don't get it!!! I know it is an extremely touchy subject with some people tho so I don't know if I would say anything because it just might make her mad and she could go off on you!! lol that wouldn't be a good situation....but if it was me I wouldn't be around her or if I had to be I would honestly give her dirty looks when she was smoking! That is just something I can't agree with! Babies are precious gifts so doing anything that would harm them while pregnant is just beyond me!!

It is best to avoid smoking and not to drink much alcohol during pregnancy. Smoking during pregnancy can make the baby have a low birth weight. I don't think it is right for a lady to smoke cigarettes during pregnancy. I am not a smoker but I do have friends that have tried to give up smoking. In early pregnancy a lady can feel tired and emotional. It is difficult for some pregnant ladies to give up smoking.
