1. msfrancisco9369 (2136) | 2 months ago | Hi Jaiho,
I made so many sacrifices for my family. The space will not be enough the name them all. What is important for me is i made my family happy, i made them so proud of me and never disappointed them for my personal qualms and wants.
Let me mention some petty things but means a lot to me-- i love collecting shoes and flip flaps, bags, and clothes-- but i made my priority of saving money for my kids education and other house needs.
I sacrificed for almost two years to be away from my family to work abroad to give them a chance to follow... now we are still waiting for that time to come that we can go as a family to the US. I am now back in my country.

2. bodhisatya (549) | 2 months ago | Hey my dear Sis,
This is a very serious question you asked. What sacrifices I made! Well I have acted in ways which asked me to forget "my" pleasure for the sake of my family.
I won't actually call it a sacrifice, because if I do so then I would be humiliating my guys.
How far can I go..... well I can go upto any extent. Just for the records sleep, or hunger or physical labor hasn't bothered me in the past.
I don't know whether i have been able to put my point across, but just wanted to say that for my close friends and for my family I can go upto any extent.
Bodhi

3. XiaoLin (137) | 2 months ago | I tried. I thought I had to give up my dream to live abruad for the sake of my family, both my parents and now my husband, also. When I was a student abroad I came back home because my mother wouldn't feel at ease when I was far away, and when I met my husband-to-be I decided not to go back studying abroad, even if that was my plan before meeting him, because I was afraid he would feel rejected. I tied to give my life here in my hometown new meanings, looking for different interests and working places, but... I'm not happy. It seems like life is endlessly showing me signs that I'm not doing it he right way here. So I decided to be true to myself again and go. I can be selfish, I know, but I realized I'll never make my family happy if I am not happy as well. If their happiness is in my unhappiness, then, is it really worth being together?
