Does outsourcing create job losses in USA?

If we look at it globally we see that a lot of companies outsource to the Asian countries which results in a huge concentration of jobs in Asia which would before be spread among multiple countries. As we all know outsourcing is popular because of the lower costs, each and every costs cut comes with negative effects, in this case it would be the decrease of jobs in for example the USA.

Absolutely, Americans lose jobs when jobs can be performed for cheaper somewhere else. When it comes to globalization, there is really nothing anyone can really do. Cheaper sources of labor, cheaper products, and it improves the information systems that we develop.

Obviously when American money is going overseas, that is less money that is coming back into the United States. Our money will add to the economy of another country, while our suppliers or workers feel the effects. Eventually, who knows where this will result.

Some people are very concerned about the "New World Order" but other people think it's a solution to all our problems.

Take it as you will, but when American jobs go to other countries, those families that depended on that income are at a loss--and since American education is not really as up on it's game as other countries, I'm not sure how fast we can train all these people to keep and create more jobs in the United States.

These days, money talks--and cheaper is better...to most people, despite the consequences...

example. if Bill Gates had not sent his business to India,, at much lower costs to him, Americans could have done the jobs equally well and the business could have boomed in the USA and given jobs to SOO MANY people and the wages they deserved.. but then Bill Gates would have made less money... O dear!!

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And THAT is to me a huge problem.
Money always speaks louder than compassion and helping thy neighbour.

I like the adage "Charity begins at home"..IT happens all over the world.. and when the auto industry suffers in the USA the outsourced countries, like Sweden, suffer immensely as people lose their jobs and homes..but the government bails out the industry in the mother land.. yes yes..
and no one says a thing because the rich are also those in power..

Can you tell we have also been affected by outsourcing, only the shoe on the other foot? I feel sorry for the American people who are NOT number one in their own country,, all because of the almighty dollar.
