driving drunk  | |  So yes we all know it is bad to drive a automobile drunk. But what about a motorized chair? Would that be okay? Apparently not because some police in Proctor Mn are selling one mans motorized chair who was charged with driving it drunk.
It really is a hilarious story, the police had it on ebay at first as a Lay Z Boy chair and the action reached up to 43,000 dollars. But had to take it back off after ebay said it was not actually the Lay Z boy brand. So the reposted it as the DWI chair. Really funny. http://tinyurl.com/yzsgate

That is, especially if you are out in public. I remember years ago, a friend of mine getting a DWI on a bicycle. I would have never thought that could happen, but it did. I know back in the day, if I was going to watch a ball game or race at a friend's house and knew that I would be drinking, I would ride my bike instead of driving my truck. You would think that the police would appreciate the fact that you weren't endangering others. Luckily, I was pretty close to home and never had any dealings with the police.
I have rode my riding mower while I was drinking a few beers. To be honest with you, it is a little more complicated to work at least in a yard with hills, ruts and ditches, than a car. So I most certainly wouldn't suggest anyone drinking and driving one of these. LOL

But anyways yes I would think they would rather you just indanger your self by getting on a bike or something. That is even better than something motorized. I mean it is possbile you could run over a pedestrian or two but not kill them probably. I don't know sometimes I think they make laws anymore just because they are bored. | |
