How has death affected you?

The most important thing to do before death is to live. But what if someone you know died? How would you react? I know that to live is not just to survive, but to enjoy every single moment of it. It is not to merely appreciate, but to enjoy appreciating. I myself have experienced a beloved grandfather's death. He died of cancer, and our whole family grieved along with. I wrote a poem dedicated to him and peaceful death. http://authspot.com/poetry/world-of-dreams-3/ That was how I felt when I witnessed death. I just imagine peace. That's all. No more lies, hurt, pain, sorrow, or even joy for them. How has the death of others affected you?
