Is it compelsory to give tags for the discussions.

I think no, it's not required at all.. Sometimes I'm skipping it for some reasons I can't think of a nice tag to put..^_^ But I think there's no difference on your earnings if you don't put a tag on your comments..

Hi Neelima.. Its not compulsory to give tags.. Its your wish you can give tags or you can just skip.. but when you give tags we must keep in mind to give the proper tags.. meaning the tags we give must be related to the topic we are discussing.. And coming to use of tags.. The tags we give are used as keywords for searching.. For example there is a Search box in the top of the page.. give some word which you want and hit on search.. you will get list of discussions which as tags that you entered in the search box.. In the same way it helps to list our topics in search engines like google.. Hope you got the answer dear..

no my friend giving tags are optional.tags shows all discussions of comman interest.thet add as index to dicussions.tags help you to publish your discussion on large basis.so giving tag is helpful to you and others.happy mylotting.

I am certain that it is not compulsory to tag discussions and I admit that I don’t always do it. MyLot encourages us to add tags because it makes it easier to find discussions we may be searching for. It is one of those things that is not a must but is something considerate to do to make MyLot a better site.

hi their friend, it's not really required to tag every discussion or response but here in our community we like our contributions to be organized so we used this 'tag' to allow the system to categorize our contributions for easy navigation...if you want to know more about tagging click on "mylot" tab just besides "quizzes" tab and click on "mylot faq" and click on "FAQ - Tagging"

Its not compulsory to give tags to the discussion. Tags means the keywords, that is the what the discussion or the response saying about. If you give a tag the discussions with same tag words will be listed below as similar discussion. And it help to find the discussion by searching with the tag words.

its not obligatory .... i skip it most of the time .actually always i guess.i just think it slows me down while posting .

Tagging is not compulsory but it may help you to earn more. In the right you can see all the discussions which has similar tags. So may be while answering others the user may also answer your discussions.

Using tags is useful to receive more responses on your own discussions ultimately leading to more earning.

I do not think it is compulsory to give tags. But it helps to categorise the discussions. But I feel there must be some good reason for the tags being introduced. Why to skip it? After all how long it will take to write couple of words? I always write tags.
