What does Thanksgiving mean to you?

For me, thanksgiving is from the word itself. It is giving of thanks. Giving of thanks does not necessarily be related to a religious act. You can always celebrate giving of thanks for every victory in life you achieve. An example is that when I do something important, I celebrate it with thanksgiving. It is not what you prepare but how sincere you are in giving of thanks.

it's just turkey day to me.
we don't celebrate it other than a bigger than normal meal.

I dunno what thanksgiving is all about.. BUt in recent years, in singapore, we are celebrating it, in a small scale too, especially in companies or some government sectors.. haha=D

Just like yesterday or the day before, it was being reported in the news, whereby a food court auntie, was presented with a stalk of sunflower by customers, because of her helpfulness and eagerness etc.. haha=D

So, i guess it's just a festive to thank anybody or everybody whom has helped us in our lifes^_^

Sweetie, Thanksgiving isn't about religion. It's a special day, set aside, to celebrate the blessings we have recieved throughout the year. It's a time for family and friends, for sharing our lives, and our blessings. Many people will offer up some of the things they are thankful for by going one by one around the table. It is a time of remembering the history of our nation. Yes, I count my blessings everyday and offer my gratitude. It's about tradition and so much more.
