Subcribing on mylot.com

I think a great feature on mylot would be able to subscribe to other peoples posts so when they make a discussion about a topic - you can easily find it and post in it. The reason for this is because maybe this person always has interesting topics and you would like to read them all the time and post in them.

Many of you would say, what's the point when you can add them as friends and then they can see what you are doing... well what if the user only wants friends that he knows and would prefer the subscription bar...?

This is just an idea but please leave feedback and thoughts!
