How about try an ABC album. Think of words to describe your daughter alphabetically, then create a page per alphabet. Or a "firsts" album, like make a different page per her firsts: first haircut, first meal, first peek into the world, first tooth, etc. Or a monthly album showing a different page/layout per month. Or you can choose to combine the latter two.

I made a mini accordion album just to capture the monthly progress of my friend's daughter. http://scrapadoo.blogspot.com/2006/11/accordion-mini-album.html
Feel free to get some ideas from my humble little blog.

Take a photo of the hospital where she was born, write down what the prices of things were when she was born. Photo of Dr. who delivered her. Maybe add a flower you got at hospital. Her arm band. just stuff like that. Have fun with it.

When I started my baby scrapbook, I searched out scrapbooking websites, there are HEAPS, and I took a look at some of their galleries. They had some good ideas, also if you buy some of the kits that are specifically for baby albums, they sometimes have ideas pictures for you to copy. Some places also sell ready made pages, so all you have to do is add the photos. When I did it, I collected all the info i could on my baby's year of birth, I also added things like their bracelet, and I cut out the cute designs from some of the cards people gave me, and used them to embellish the pages. Have fun!
