hair cut

I am planning to have my hair cut tomorrow with a new shave as well. My hair have grown after a month and a half without a hair cut. Whenever I have a hair cut, i feel good about it and I look a new person physically. I think that a right hair cut is good without any problems. But if we cut our hair and follow what the crowd is doing, then we end up pleasing others. I like a simple clean hair cut and not any other punk hair cuts out there.

When I get my hair cut it kind of makes me feel uncomfortable and self-conscious. I tend to keep my hair long, and since it is naturally very curly, when I do get it cut it looks like they end up cutting more than I requested. To fix it they do what I normally do to it, so it's very easy for me to get the same desired look.

I'm male and I just have a short cropped haircut so it's easy for me to keep my hair tidy. I just wash it, dry it with a towel and it's done. I always feel better when I get my hair cut because my hair grows thick and messy if I leave it too long.

I am glad you are feeling happy! Yes it is pretty amazing that a simple thing like just being able to get a haircut can make you feel happy. I guess the psychology behind that is maybe we've wanted a hair cut for a while and haven't got the time for it, so when we do have the time, and get the hair-cut, we feel happy as that's out of our way, and we actually look more beautiful, but more importantly feel more beautiful!

I haven't got a haircut. Well I have trimmed, but not an actual style. I have nice long hair and I would hate to cut that off. Though I would like to cut it short and see how my hair would look like, but then I'd want my long hair back straight away, which can't happen.

Well we are just gonna have to hope that your hair doesn't turn out like a pancake tomorrow!

Sometimes we just need to do those little things that please us to boost our day. If a simple thing such as a haircut does it for you, I am happy for you. I'm sure your new haircut looks great on you too.

i am going to my haircut tomorrow as mine too is starting to look really fluffy (sort of like those 1980 hairstyles! yuck!) you are right though on how much even a simple hair cut can make you feel much better.

I got mine cut last month. I like it shoulder length. I feel good when I get mine cut as well. My husband is balding and gets his cut every four months.
My hair naturally curls at the ends so I do not really have to fuss with my hair. I have never been a big fan of fussing with my hair.

I cut my hair a week ago. I went from tailbone to just above waist. Although that's long for most people where I live, it feels and looks short to me! I originaly was going to do a trim, maybe half of what I ended up actually cutting off. I did feyes self trim method, but messed up somehow and it turned out uneven and I had to do it again. I wanted to get rid of half of my damage from dye, let it grow a little longer, then get rid of the rest of the damage maybe a year later. But when going at it the second time I was like, "What the heck, why not get it all at once?" I'm glad the damage is gone and now I don't have to worry about it any more.

As for hair cuts where the hair turns out to be actually short: They have never worked out for me. Even as soon as I get up from the stylist chair. My hair does a weird thing when it's short. It lays flat against my head and face, until the ends, where it does this huge flip thing. I guess mine is a deformed pancake. No stylist has been able to get rid of the flip or make my hair fuller looking. I went into a salon a few times to get a haircut, thinking it will turn out different this time, but it never did. And of course I tried to fix it myself, with no luck. Straighteners can't straighten the flip. And once I managed to make my hair look fuller with mousse, hair spray, a round brush, a blow dryer, and lots of head banging and jumping around. But when I stood still to look in the mirror it stayed for about 30 seconds, then deflated like a balloon. I finally learned my lesson and sworn off short hair cuts.

I just saw it's been a few days since you posted this. How did your hair turn out?
