At that time Shanghai and Hong Kong competed very severely. In order to stimulate the economy of Hong Kong, the central government orders Shanghai to suspend the negotiation, so the first Disneyland in Greater China was opened in Hong Kong. At present Shanghai also faces the issue of economic transition. Disneyland project is regarded as a positive power to promote the development of service industry.
