You will get a star when you reach 100 numbers. The number written in the star represents your reputation. Reputation is determined by the positive rate on your discussion by other members. You can also rate others discussion when you reach 100 posts in mylot. Hope you will make friends and enjoy with us.

Friend, star represents the your reputation. You will get a star beside your name after reaching hundred posts. You can rate each response and discussions by clicking on the + or - sign seen near it. So the reputation increases and decreases with it. Good day friend.

To answer your questions, you will be given a star when your post number (the number in brackets) reaches 100. The colour of the star and the number in the star represent your myLot reputation. The original colour and number you receive is determined by myLot on the basis of the quality of your discussions and comments. After you receive your star, the number will be affected by ratings ("+" or "-") given by myLot members.

You will notice a + -! at the right of discussions and comments.

If you appreciate the discussion/comment, and think it is good quality, you should click on the "+". If you find something abusive or against the myLot rules, you should click on the "!" and you will be asked the reason for the report.

You will probably never use the "-". MyLot says it should NOT be used if you disagree with a discussion/comment. It is used if the person is rude or offensive or writes a response which has nothing to do with the discussion.
