Hi Kush, I think this depends on one's culture and values. There are some girls who are more comfortable expressing themselves in whatever ways. Let's just respect their decisions and readiness for something "intimate" to happen.

but one more thing even if the culture and values are considerd to be there you might have seen very few ladies come forward as leaders and those who come are only wifes or related to big leaders

I could give you a big list of women that have been, or are, leaders in the world. In my country , the president is a woman. It has happenned in many countries. There are wonderful women in all trades and roles in society.

Lol, you say so until you'll find one that will pin you to the floor! Just joking, lol. I think we're kind of shy because we generally feel unsafe and also because it's more comfortable if it's someone else initiating. In time I learnt initiating more, but it's still difficult, I always think if I'm doing something wrong and I fear rejection. That's happened just a couple of times but I am scared of that and how I'd feel then. Men seem to take that much better!

Not all women are like that. It depends. Just as if I would ask "why men are shy to initiate anything?"
