How to improve your reading skills

The best thing to do to become a good reader is to practice, practice, and more practice. There is no better way. Add to that listening to others read and pronounce words so that we can also do the same with the good pronunciation and articulation. I am not a good reader myself but at least I can read and understand. That is important. I don't have an ambition to be in a reading skill contest.

I have always practiced my speeches in front of a mirror. That way I could change facial expressions to match better. You can also watch your body language to make sure you are giving off a very positive, personable image. I think practice makes perfect, so the more you go over it, the better you will do. Reading is the best hobby one can have.. And to improve reading skills one have to first develop a thirst for knowledge and books... This can make you think at every free-time to start reading... In my opinion the best way is to get interested in good knowledge books and others.. If you have interest you can finish a big novel in a day ...! So just develop your interest in books..

To become a good reader, the only thing one can do is READ. And it is right to think that being a good reader may lead to becoming a better speaker. However, I believe this only happens when you read ALOUD. Reading prose or poetry to family and friends is a great way to get rid of stuttering. My family once hired a coach to help my cousin get over his stammering. That might be a little pricey though. Instead, one can practice in front of a mirror. Good luck!

practice makes man almost perfect! So try hard. It's important to know about punctuation marks. Where to stop and where to pause. Pronunciation is very important. Do not jump over words just read faster. See properly and read.
