By arrow, you mean the mouse pointer right? Okay, I'm not sure if this will work but maybe you can try reloading your "explorer.exe" you can do this by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del. In the File menu, click New Task (Run)... Then type in "explorer.exe" worked for me a couple of times. Hope that helps. In the future, try partitioning your hard drive so you can save your files in a different partition and exempt it from formatting. Good luck!

Oh well, that is really a sad state to be in. I hope that you will have someone to help you and resuscitate your computer so that you can still use it. But if not, then your choice really is to be in a computer shop. It happens to many and not only you. The other month ago, my hard disk crashed and I had to have it checked. Now, I am using my laptop because my desktop was not yet repaired.

That's too bad, buddy. I know there's a lot in that harddisk that is so important to you. Maybe you have to call for a comptech for that. But wait, I guess the problem is just the OS and files you have there are still intact, and guess you still have chance to copy or back-up them to other type of storage, before comptech will do anything to the entire system.

oh friend, i am sorry to hear that, i hope nothing much serious has happened to your computer, but you definitely will have to take more care the next time, i hope the specialist is able to save the contents of your computer before actually formatting the whole system... that could be done, but i think it is not that big a problem for your computer to be formatted completely but who knows... hope you are able to have a back copy of the files before executing something like that...

it really not that necessary to take a computer technician or programming course just to be able to clean ur pc=D you can learn bout it from ur friends, ask them some help and to teach you how to maintain ur pc.

first, u have to learn how to clean registry. second, u have to always update ur virus definition to prevent virus attacking ur pc. third, don't install a weird softwares that u can't make sure its safety. forth, always prepare a back-ups of ur files every once in a month or once in a half year, so when something unexpected happens, you won't have any regrets again lol..

Oh dude, I am soo sorry to hear that. I know how 'connected' you are with your computer. It seems like it was a huge part of your life. You created great things with that computer. Hmm, maybe there's still something you can do to save those files. I know you can recreate them if you had to but, I know how much work you put in those originals. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try we can never recreate the same thing in the same way ever again. So I think its best to pull out all the stops while its still alive and kicking.
