How do you choose a Digital Camera?

Battery life is very important unless if u use rechargeable batteries. I also would consider the size of it; I like slim gadgets. There's the quality of pictures taken of course. That's the main purpose of buying a camera in the first place. I think it's ridiculous to buy because it "looks" nice when the pictures quality are not nearly as nice as a camera half its price.

I choose a digital camera that has a very good zoom on it. Like one with an optical and digital zoom that would add to times 50. I would get a digital camera with 10 to 12 million megapixals. I like the colors black or silver for a digital camera. The style wouldn't be all that important to me.

My sister choose camera by its looking.....i really hate that..how can anyone choose it looking wise??? For me i look first its features and than its color and style...Features is must.. I like photography with clear results...
