I wanna publish a book...

Friends,
am going to write a book and wish to publish it in my name. What should i do? May the procedure be different in different countries. Am from India.
If am publishing the book in my own name, should i take the whole expance? How much will come its expance? How will it get publicity? Can anyone help...

Wow! That'll be a great thing to do, abhaijith. But publishing a book is like also investing on something profitable. You need to shoulder the expenses all by yourself if you decide to do it as a one man army. However, there are agents and publishers looking for new writers. You can contact them. They will be asking you to do your share but at least, some of the burdens, especially on the financial will be lighter. There's a website that can publish your book at less cost. Try checking LULU.COM. Maybe, it'll be of help to you. Goodluck and more power.:-)

Yeah,of course,investing and make money,that is the process here.But its quite risky job that a have taken.Its my first time am writing a book,and not at all confident so.Yeah, you are right but i don't know how to contact these guys,from where i will get the contact details of these publishers in my area.
