I used to download some stuff from internet regularly. I have muTorrent installed in my machine. But the speed of downloading is very less. How to increase the speed of muTorrent by adding peers.

Maximum Number of connected peers per torrent: 70
Number of upload slots per torrent: 3
Use additional upload slots if upload speed<90%: Checked
Maximum number of active torrents: 2
Maximun number of active downloads: 1
Enable DHT Network: CHECKED
Enable DHT for new torrents: CHECKED
Enable Peer exchange: checked
enable scrapping: checked
Disable your Windows Firewall.
Download "patched tcpip.sys" from "www.lvllord.de" and run, to get better performance.

5.  smilyn (984) | 2 weeks ago |  Normally when downloading torrents through torrent clients (Mu torrent etc) one does not get good downloading speeds and it becomes very annoying especially on slow internet connections. Actually it is not the software or torrents at fault but the default settings of MuTorrent (Or BitTorrent) are the culprits (Note however that torrent downloading speeds are also controlled by your Internet Service Provider). When you download a torrent it is not only downloaded but also uploaded at the same time (Actually it is “Sharing”). Thus uploading also take your bandwidth reducing downloading speeds. By tweaking some settings you can reduce uploading speeds and increase downloading speed. Just follow the below given instructions:
1. Launch Mu Torrent and go to “Options/Preferences” (Or simply press Ctrl+P keys)
2. Check out http://technomedic.blogsp... can find few snapshots..Change the default settings according to the given snapshots i.e. the settings must be changed exactly as in the pictures.
3. Click “Apply” and then “OK” and you are done
Now see the difference yourself by downloading any torrent.....enjoy
