Everyday there is a suicide commited by young children

Your right there seems to be a lot you have no idea all ages I worked in health care can't do that line a work right now I'm pregnant anyways you's be surprised about why they wanted that way out or they thought that was a way out. It's sad sometimes their mental state is so gone by the time they've decided to take their life. I've seen the one's in the hospital they get put in lock up in the children's hospital with nothing and we as in the health care workers have to watch them eat with plastic forks. Some kids don't feel comfortable talking to someone and they get in so deep by the time they have it in their mind. It's very sad I've talked with some of the kids and asked them why they felt a certain way? I listened to them I had time I was private so I had time to understand where they coming from and they asked me why am I here? my response is " your parents are worried about you, you told your parents things weren't worth it any more and you said you wanted to end it. Not all people get the help. For too many it's too late suicide is one of those things I don't hear them talk about much in the news it's the other stuff you hear more and I'm sure it's happens more then people say. The amount of people who end up in the hospital makes you wonder. I think they have counselors,but some kids don't want to talk if you make me go to a shrink and asked me to air my dirty laundry I wouldn't talk because i wouldn't want you to think I was crazy. I could see that thought in a kids mind or anyone who thought of suicide. I put myself in some of my patients shoes I guess to understand them and see what made them tick. I was good at what I did,but now my life's changed I'm going to embrace being a mom in 4 months maybe less time now. It's sad it wasn't easy some of the cases I've had I've had worse the ones dying from cancer that's enough to make you cry. I got attached to one she reminded me of my mom's friend and she died well the patient did to. Health care isn't an easy job tip your hat off to the nurses and the caregivers. I was a caregiver there's a lot of sadness in the hospital.

I was that child, I first attempted suicide at 7 yrs old. Yes, as you say, it's upsetting but yet not enough because everybody are sorry and upset when they hear about these news but really nobody cares a thing about children that attempt it. Just because they are children problem doesn't mean they are small problems.
Awareness programmes and counselors don't do much, most children won't talk about those things with a school counselor, it's not seen as a 'safe' person, I had a school counselor, but I always lied to him.
What should really be done is raising awareness in teachers, because children can see the counselor say 15 minutes per week, maybe, but it's teachers spending a lot of time with them, they should learn recognizing signs.
Whenever I received a bad mark I'd have a panic attack, all the schoolmates around me knew that, and it was visible, and there was also a reason for that panic attack, because going back home with a bad mark was terrible. I think my teachers should have seen my panic, should have understood that maybe there was something wrong beyond the mark, but none did. And I wouldn't talk to the counsellor, anyways the counsellor isn't properly organized because to talk to him or her I had to go out of the classroom during a lesson, and people would talk at my back and why I did talk to the counsellor. We can really do better for these children, what we are doing isn't barely enough, and just feeling upset isn't going to sort anything.
