i tried to be as positive as i am but my environment doesn't go along with it. i don't really have personal problems. i just feel the other's problems especially when when relatives are involved. i easily got carried away and i feel like i feel more bad than them. this make me stressful all the way. how about you?

yes i am. work is the culprit. i need to commute and travel 2 hours before reaching the office. my boss doensn't mind the mind so i can only leave whenever he tells me to which usually happens not earlier than 9pm. so another 2 hours for me to commute so thats 11. by then, i'm so tired and all i can do is eat and sleep. the same routine happens on the next day from monday to saturday. i barely have time for myself.

We are really affected by other people's problems. Even so when these are our relatives. I have been into similar situations as you had been. I hae realized that it is not proper to be "buried" in our people's problems and I have, in a way, learned to deal with it personally. Sometimes guilt comes in for something that we had not done to help or for something we had done but we felt was lacking, but that should not be. We have to appease ourselves with the thought that sometimes we are incapable of helping them because of some minor, urgent and immediate personal and family problems that we have and which we need to prioritize. Of course my own personal problems and other relatives' problems stress me. To de-stress, I need to get out of that thought and indulge myself in some activities that forget about this problems. I play badminton and go brisk walking in the sports center where I can enjoy to laugh with my playmates and to exercise myself. If is just momentary but in a way, I am doing myself good with it. We need to take care of ourselves first before others.

yes and its not nice to do that. i have read over some tips on how to cope up stress. Managing stress is all about taking charge: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun – plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.
