Hi Bart,

You can eat the Kiwi fruits with skins and it does not make
any harm to your body, because the skin parts of the Kiwi
fruits would be act as a good fiber and it is very much useful
as a good laxative in our body systems, so you have to make confirm
that to clean properly the whole fruits with the helps of the water
and then eat the whole fruits, because of possibility of the infection.
If it is very clean then of course go and enjoy to have all the benefits
of fruits like good vitamins and minerals.

Kiwi can be eaten with skin on or without skin.

hi Bart I also only wash the kiwi and then eat it with the skin as is. The golden kiwis dont have such a rough skin like the green ones do so its easier to eat them with the skin on than the green ones.

I am afraid it is difficult to wash out the residual pesticide.
and its so fuzzy and rough skin disgusted me~~ i still can hardly accept that.

I don't know where they come from (where they are imported from, that is) but in the fall, for like two weeks, we have kiwi berries. I don't know if they are some pygmy variety of kiwi fruits or if they are a hybrid with something else but they are fabulous. They are basically tiny kiwi fruits without fur and they kind of look like olives. But, here anyway, if you find them in a store buy them because they won't be there next week.
