Squidoo blocked another lens of mine - and this one was nothing but

I didnt even bother submitting this one for review. I have started moving all my lenses dealing with ptc to my main website. This is my second block, ouch! Eventually I will have nothing left on squidoo so that says it all.

I also forgot to mention...instead of making a new website...why not add a few more pages to your current one with the info you have on your lens?

Great idea which you always have. I already added this lens to main site. The link is now called beware of scams. Thats what happened to me, I was updating my lens and it wouldnt allow me to publish.

I dont like reporting others. I think squidoo and other sites should do that. Unless its something very offending, which I will report, I figure they will eventually get blocked. They obviously dont update their lenses regularly like I do. Some of the ptc sites are even closed now.

The thing is, when you see something that should not be, you should report them if you see them. There are so many lenses a day that are being created, that its hard for squidoo to keep up.

Squidoo itself is a small team. Those reports are send to the team and they look at those reports and decide to lock those lenses.

There is also 32 official squid angels whom do their best to make sure the best lenses shine and the bad ones get buried. The more you help the community by reporting bad lenses, the better it will be in the long run. Maybe even more enjoyable. It usually takes two people to report a lens to get a lens locked automatically.

Do I like to report lenses? No way. If I don't have to, I don't.

I somewhat agree with what you say here. I just feel sorry for those trying to earn online by making these lenses, just like me. They mean well. If I told on these "banner" lenses I feel it would be for the wrong reasons. I am just upset because mine got locked and I worked so hard to make sure it was content filled and helped others.

No no, squidoo is not a scam and far from it. Just like mylot, they have strict standards which sometimes stiffle ones creativity and the ability to earn online. They have always paid me and many others. Just dont see eye to eye lately.

Yes that does seem to be the direction they are heading. Very convenient for them now that they have their membership base. The rule list keeps getting longer and longer but I guess with any big site, this happens. They must have a good reason for doing it. But you are right, spam is spam no matter what the topic. You risk spam just by being on the internet.
