Confusing pasting operations .....  |

 You all might have faced this problem while adding banners to our profile. While pasting the html codes in the html sortie in our mylot profile, most of the members are using the mouse clicks, both for copying the codes and pasting them in the sortie. But if we try to save them, it may not get saved for few attempts. But in some other response, I came to know that if we use the shortcut keys( "Control+V" ) option to paste the codes, its saved very easily, within one or two attempts..What is the difference between these two? Is there any technical difference between them? But I realized that the shortcut keys are working well, when compared to the mouse cliks, many times.

 knrsekar (487) | 2 months ago | As I am using the fire fox, so far I was unaware of this..But just now I tried for that and it is not working with fire fox.Also the sorties are getting saved only if we have the better Internet connectivity. If the Internet is speed is very slow, our banners are not getting saved even if we try for many times..But if we try to use the short cut keys, the banners codes are easily able to be saved and still I am not able to understand the reason for that.It may depends on the browser also as like some other members have mentioned.Thanks for your response.. | |

Also it seems it is better to use the Internet Explorer to save our banners with ease in mylot when compared to the other browsers.So far I was using only Firefox for this and Just today I checked with Internet Explorer. The banners are able to be saved within two attempts even if the Internet connectivity is poor..It seems it purely depends on the browser we are using.But a site should be compatible with all type of popular browsers so that the members don't need to install the new browser just for adding the banners.Thanks for our response. | |

3.  syndrix (356) | 2 months ago |  Actually its not with the mice or the shortkeys. first thing is that, this is concerned with your browser whether you are using IE or Firefox. Usually this is happen like in my case if our browser has numbers of days storing the cache. You have to clear the history or the cache of your browser and try to refresh it. And try used IE instead of firefox if still same error or can not save your html. I know many myLotter experience it not only me or you. You can make it and it will work. Happy MyLotting

But I used to clear all the cache,cookies,history at least thrice in a day as I am active in some of the traffic exchange sites.If we surf them, very soon, the system will start to function very slow. Because of this, I will clear then with Ccleaner, many times in a day. As saving the banner depends on the browser we are using, it may be easy to store them in Internet Explorer..Just now I tried to save a banner using Internet Explorer and it is working well than fire fox..Here after, I will do this only with IE.Thanks for your response. | |

| knrsekar (487) | 2 months ago | As I am using Firefox, the mouse clicks are not helping me too much as like the shortcut keys.If I try with the mouse clicks, then I need to repeat the pasting operation many times and some time, it will take more than 10 minuets for a banner to get saved in the profile.On the other hand, if I use the shortcut keys,I can save the banners easily, within one or two attempts, even if the Internet connectivity is slow.Thanks for your response. | |

| knrsekar (487) | 2 months ago | It seems,saving the banners in our profile depends on the browser we are using to access the mylot..Also also, on seeing the responses, the members who are using the Internet Explorer are not facing any problem while saving our banners..Only the fire fox users have to repeat the pasting and saving many times till we get our banners saved. I am using Firefox and I will use the short cut keys only to add the banners.Thanks for your response | |

I had problems adding HTML for some software on my profile until I was helped by Lamb.
It is best to use IE as it seems to be the browser which works best when doing anything a bit technical here.
There is a member here called Owlwings who knows all the keyboard shortcuts and other technical things so look out for him.

| knrsekar (487) | 2 months ago | Typing the exact code is much difficult and that too if we try to type the html codes of the banners,there are lot of possibilities for the typo error.I don't know how did you managed to type them..But I am not able to see any banners in your profile now..what happened to them? Please add if you have any different program.Even if you are using the Firefox as the default browser, you can use the Internet explorer to add the HTML codes in mylot profile..On hearing from the other members, I tried for that and it seems much easy to save the codes than in Firefox.Thanks for your response. | |
