Does mobile phone has an IP address?

The cellphone itself does not bear any ip address. So far i know that the cellphone company, whose network you are using they have numbers of ip addresses. So while mailing or browsing, those ip addresses are used. Each time you are logged in by your cellphone, you will be mostly use different ip addresses. As they have many and once you try to access, you are just forwarded to instant vaccant one. Hope some other friends will give a detailed picture about it.

Yeah, it's right. As i know Cellphone using IP address in connecting to internet. And the type is dinamyc ip. So when you unconnect and connect again you will use new ip address.

nope.. mobile phones do not have ip addresses.. they use the operator's ip address to connect to the internet.

yeah,I think it has an Ip address. now many mobile phone in internet through wap.the ip address is distributed by ISP.so every mobile phones has an Ip address.

hey thats a very good question... i really don't know about it.. i have came to this discussion by reading its title.. but still not any proper answer from other users.. hey anyone know the correct answer. As per me i am also using my mobile to connect internet... but i am connecting it with laptop and then uses internet...but if we use internet direct from mobile then...how can anyone get machine's ipaddress.??..
