free credit report.com  | |  Does anyone use this site? Is it a pain to cancel before the trial membership is over? Is the information accurate? Helpful? I'm wondering if I should even bother or just pay for my credit score. I know you can get a credit report for free, but that doesn't include the score, which is what I want to know. Any input appreciated.

I know you're not from Canada and I am but I had a bank teller tell me one time that whenever they have to go in to check your credit rating it looses you points on your credit score. I don't know the law where you are but it's worth checking it out I think.

I signed up for free credit report and I still have my account with them and have to pay the $15 monthly charge but I did try and cancel my account at one point and it was not hard to do at all! they have a phone number you call to cancel your account. I called it the second month i was with them because I did not care about my score anymore, so when I called I got a hold of a woman and she was really nice and I told her I would like to cancel my account and she talked to me for a little bit and to make the story short, I had already paid that month so I decided to keep the account another 20 days and then cancel it after 20 days to get the most out of my money but I ended up just keeping it!:)
and NO it does not hurt your score when you check you score with free credit report! it explains everything about that when you get your account ..... but basically when you check it through the website it does not hurt your score. the only checks the REALLY hurts your score are "hard inquiries" you get through car dealerships banks etc...
