Love at the first sight is not the true love.how do you think?

This is the second time I will answer this here. I don not believe in "Love at first sight". Nobody can actually FALL IN LOVE on the first sight. If they do, chances are is that they wont last. You have to know the person better before saying that you are in love with that person. I think I would rather believe in "lust at first sight". LOL!

I agree with the first commenter here. There is no such thing as love at first sight. There is an attraction at first sight. There is an "I'd like to get to know her/him better at first sight. There is also lust at first sight, but love at first sight is an impossibility.

Love takes time to develop. Love demands LIKING and RESPECT and honour. Love demands first knowing and understanding personalities, characteristics, likes and dislikes, and so many other qualities. Love will grow as two people discover these things as friends, without hang-ups of relationship.

A couple rushing into a relationship is the biggest cause of failure.

Beauty is to the eye of the beholder. The younger the man is, the more is the tendency to be attracted physically. Love at first sight is still love, but this would still be categorized as love on the superficial level or Eros. It can't be helped if a man falls in love with a woman physically first because it's what they seefirst when they look at a woman in their own perspective. In an article that I saw on the website in ezinearticles.com, written by Yangki Christine Akiteng, she says that "chemistry happens for a majority of men in three stages", further adding that "men fall in love at first sight more than women." She even emphasizes that " a man's decision at this stage is purely based on visual cues". Basing on this, if you want to attract the right man, then be the right man for the right girl. But I don't be a total wipeout, losing your personality in the process. It means that a girl should keep on doing the things that she is passionate about, her career, her hobbies,talents and skills, but also find the time to take care of her physical appearance. After all, who would want to date a girl who doesn't brush her teeth or floss, or put deodorant on their armpits, or even get a haircut that suits her? So physical appearance does play a part in the woman's way of becoming attractive.

Love is the most powerful emotion in the animal kingdom (including humans). Love must not be tempered with and must be seen properly.
In my opinion, both looks and personality count heavily. If I saw the most beautiful woman in my life and found out that she doesn't match my personality or vice versa, I would be depressed for the rest of my life.
Love isn't only about looks, its about personality, looks, trust all put together and the absense of one of these may end up breaking the couple.
That's why one must be open to all "types" so he/she has lots of options and in the end, can go with the one that suits him/her the best.
