Hey friends, Iam watching the on going Cricket series between India and Australia with keen interest. Its very sad to see our team losing to almost Australian 'A’ side that too in our own home ground. Not to forget that we had our full strength team in batting paradise wickets and yet we could not manage to beat their almost 'A' side where so many of their key players are missing. Anyway with Australian team around, we all know there are going to be some tense moments in the ground. I saw some tactics used by Ricky ponting & his men to curb runs, which is a disgrace for a team, which claims to be the No.1 team in the world. Not only many Australian bowlers were sledging in the ground but they were also blocking Indian batsman to take runs. It happened almost 4-5 times in 6 matches so far, so it cannot be called as an accident. It was deliberate. Its very sad to see such things in a sport which is known as gentleman's game. I wonder why ICC don’t take notice of such incidents and punish the offenders. I guess its time for ICC officials to but penalty on players from other countries apart from sub continents ones if found guilty to make this game more justified. Cheers, Tutul

Well,if ICC launches any award called "Lack of sportsmanship" award then undoubtedly all the nominees would the OZ cricketers as its a "open secret" on the SPIRIT AUSTRALIAN SPORTSMANSHIP. in the ongoing series we have seen few good examples of their sports man ship the way their bowlers stand as an obstacle on the pitch for the batsmen running between th wickets.Indian Skipper MS Dhoni body language rightly suggests his reaction to this sportsmanship.

Hi, I remember once Sunil gavaskar was saying in an interview that all these ICC rules and regulations are made for players from sub continents. Players from AUs, Eng or NZ hardly cares and it shows from the incidents which occured in these tournaments. Cheers, Tutul

looks like we are just looking for excuses to hate Australian cricket team. No bowler in his right frame of mind will risk an injury by being in the way of batsmen. I am no fan of Ponting & his men. But in this series, we have to congratulate Australians for the fantastic win. Let us also not forget that Australian cricketers (despite their bad boys image) have contributed much more to charity in India than Team India.

Hi, Well i appreciate that Australian cricketers come to india and do some charity work. Its a very noble thing to do and should be appreacited by all. But that dont give them the license to abuse or sledge other players in the cricket ground. Look at the incidents in Cricket where there is some kind of controvercy, you will always get to c an australian involved. Greg chappell, Glenn mcgrath, Symmonds and the umpire Darell hair disgraced this sport like no one other did in the history of this game. In this series they have used this tactics of blocking Indian batsman for taking a run, and considering Indian players physique i guess they took this risk and it some what paid off too. U can watch the replays and judge yourself. Cheers, Tutul

cricket is a gentlemans game, but it would be a huge understatement if it is said that it is not even near to associate with the word. sledging is going on since long time....its not a big deal beause if you compare other sports cricket can be considered as one of the less physical ones.for ex football there are brutal fights going on every now and then. aus have got a taste of their own medicine in tyhe CB series ,now luck is not going our way,but its okay.
