Can't We Seize Tomorrow? Are You Good at Making Plans?

Carpe diem! Am afraid we can only seize the day. When tomorrow comes, it will be today. But you have a very interesting way of planning. The attitude could be feverish if many people are working with you. I think this world could accomplish much if there are many like you.

i am making plans too for tomorrow too. not literally as tomorrow per se or for the coming few days. but for my future as a whole. and i think that i need to give all my best, i need to climb the highest mountain, to dive the deepest the sea, cross the farthest ocean to reach my goal and dreams. i am not planning for some ordinary plans like to earn more money or to be rich one day. my plan is to get back what i have lost in life, to get back what is mine to own and to seize every opportunities and to get all the things that are destined for me to enjoy in life.

I am not an expert in making a great plan, but at least can draft a simple one. There was a time that I schedule everything I do and write it in paper. The problem was that I didn't have the discipline to put it into action consistently. Now, I don't write plans. I try to memorize them but truly, I am a forgetful person. There are many things that I forget to do during the day. A plan written down is still the best. Tomorrow, I might write down a day's plan. to a certain extent but as a family, my hubby and i are fairly spur of the moment type people. i find if we make plans and they are set in stone, something always comes up or gets in the way.

I think I'm good at making plans. If, for whatever reason, things involved with the plan interfere with it, then it depends on the circumstances whether I'll still pursue it or not. As long as I think it's still practical and will not cause any harm on myself or others, I will likely push through later.

I can make plans with the best of 'em. Detailed, faily vauge, it doesn't really matter. If there's plans to be made, I'm capible of making them. It's the whole following plans thing that gets me. My attention span isn't as bad as I let on. I'm sure it isn't For some reason though, things just seem to get in the way of what I map out.

Detailed plans can be fun to do. They get you in that right state of mind, control of your destiny kind of thinking..I've done it many times..And then reality sets in, as it has a tendency to do, and all those variables we have no control over force their way into the plan..kick it around the room a few times..bounce it off the walls..and in short order those plans are little more than a shambles scattered about on the floor..
As you can imagine, given the aforementioned, I don't get involved in such much anymore. My plan strategy is greatly simplified..I hope for the best and plan for the worst..Should the best occur, I ride it while I can and should the worst occur I'm better prepared to not be demoralized by that inevitable reality smacking me down when I'm high on that 'master of my destiny' stuff..Enjoy!

I'm fairly organised myself and I tend to use to do lists which I look at on a daily basis. I think that by doing this I am far more productive. I used to carry a notepad in my rucksack but I have given up on that idea now! I have started using windows calandar which comes built in with windows vista, it's so useful and it reminds you with pop ups and so forth. I have got rid of the notepads now and I have placed all my appointments and other things on this, very convenient! I make sure I back up this calander weekly now! I don't look too far into the future and I tend to take each day as it comes! I like this method. We just don't know what is around the corner. Andrew

...Hi getbrowser. A lot of people plan and get things done efficiently. Me, on the other hand I live my life as I go, unless it involves someone else, or an appointment of some kind. I also procrastinate, it feels so good to me, strange as it may sound, to push things off until another day, I may be making poor use of my time, but when I was working at a real job, examining banks, I got so tired of being places at certain times, that now I enjoy to the fullest, not being places or doing things at a certain time, it's just delicious. So I don't make a lot of plans, unless it's for a vacation. I'll say this for making plans, and it's from one of my sisters, she says it is always smart to have a plan B.

Can we really sieze tomorrow? Since no one is guaranteed tomorrow, we can plan for it, hope for it, but the only moment we can really sieze fully is the present moment.

I plan and prepare, for that makes good sense, but I am aware that there are no guarantees, so once plans are made, I enjoy each present moment.:))
