Did you watch tonights episode. I cried once again watching this show. Don't get me wrong I love the show but it has been a tear jerker lately. Kitty is starting to lose her hair and she does what most cancer patients do she shaves her hair off. If you were losing your hair would you be able to shave your head? I believe I would however it would be scary and powerful at the same time. What about my fellow mylotters would you be able to do it?

All human stories have their ups and downs. In fact, we are the heroes and heroines of our own stories. How we live our lives depends on the decisions we make at each milestone of our lives. And so these TV series reflects life itself. The dialogue is created and it can be really effective to bring tears to our eyes. I do not watch these series, though.

Yes, but you didn't answer the question. Would you be able to shave your head if you were losing your hair to cancer treatment?

Yes,why not? With a scissors, you trim your hair. Then you shave very close to the scalp.I believe, as most of the hair would have fallen, this will be an easy task.

Yes I would shave mine, why watch it fall out bit by bit, get it over and done with while you have control. I like that show and am glad it came back for another season. It's always good for a laugh and a cry.

I agree that is good to laugh and cry. It helps to cleanses the soul. Thanks for responding.

I don't think I could do it. My hair is about midway down my back and I'm very proud of it. I'm trying to get it to my waist or longer. I hope I never have to shave my head. It would really break my heart if I had to. However, if I had cancer, it would probably be better than losing my life. Kathy.

I'm sure if it was already falling out due to chemo you would feel better in just shaving it all off. I don't think you would want to walk around with patches of hair missing. Plus you could always wear a wig. Thanks for responding.

I gave this some thought after I responded earlier tonight and you are right. I probably would shave it all off. Kathy.
