importance of your degree PERCENTAGE%

im almost approaching the end of my mechanical btech..well bout your question..it depends..some companied look at percentage score while some only want a medium score and good communication skills..after all whts the use of all those marks if you can even communicate with your clients..so it depends on the company...but if you're a CSE or IT student..then getting a job is easy..but the life aint that good..you'll always be behind your work

As a professional student you should not bother about the
percentage of marks in the exam and just try your best to pass
the exam, because most of the company would not mind to ask your
marks, and they are always looking for the skills and spoken
knowledge, so try your best to develop your personal skills like
good spoken, good ability, good problem solver, good thinking person
etc., So be happy and enjoy your life.

According to me, marks are just for NAME SAKE.... You've done a degree and there a certificate you can hold proving it. that's all. But the companies dont recruit people who have just this. I've known many people who had a excellent record of marks(95%) and still not into any job.
And on the other hand, one of my senior, he had nearly 20 arrers, but still he is working for a concern which pays him 2lakhs per moonth!!! incredible right.. but i've seen this myself..(he still dint clear most of the papers, never attended arrear exams;trying though)..
These days education have become for the sake of marks.. its not that way..Anywhere on this world i would shout this out loud....
Education is for your knowledge. Do not cover it up with the freakin marks!!!
