Renting High Fashion?

During my last visit to the States, I was introduced to this high fashion renting site where it offers high fashion dresses of any ladies fancy. I can assure you that it is as easy as renting your Netflix DVDs.
Rent The Runaway, is certainly a convenient alternative for whatever considerations that is hindering you to buy a new dress for a one time special occasion. Mind you, the collections are quite impressive. There’s no need to scour 20 different stores, worry about a piece selling out, or stress over when you’ll wear an investment dress again.
The company let's you have your choice dress at your doorsteps in two different sizes, just to be safe. After your date, or wedding, or cocktail party, is over, just repack it in handy, pre-paid packaging and just drop it in a mailbox. Dry cleaning taken care of as well.
Although wearing the dress that has made its rounds, might be a little suspect. But what is there to stop you, ladies and guys? (Guys who like to wear lady's dresses.)

Well, I am not very brand conscious to be honest. I look at style, quality and how a piece of clothing will look on me. I'm not really fixed on getting "high fashion" but I think it's a nice thing that such stores are out there in case someone wanted to get an expensive outfit without having to buy one.

I understand where you are coming from but I am sure that once in a while you do have the experience with certain brands, their designs and materials - so going along that line and if the store carries it, finding your choice will really be quite an ease if I may say here.

Well, this is a very good business proposition. Of course in India, we already have some thing close to this. Where we can rent a suit for the marriages. Since South India is a hot place, and not many people wear a suit. But for the sake of the marriage receptions, the grooms have to strich a new suit, which is wasted, as nobody wears it after the marriage reception. So some people have started a business, of lending Marriage suits.
